Methodist Hospital needed help with a range of issues:

The first was fixing an application that was written and hosted by an IT vendor they had contracted. Methodist decided to host the application internally but when they were given the source code, it was incomplete and unusable. Zextus successfully fixed the application within a day and with minimal cost to Methodist.

The second was to quickly implement and deploy a web application to gather user registration information securely for a conference being help by methodist. This had to be implemented as quickly as possible because the conference was less than two months away. Zextus was able to successfully develop and integrate the web application into their existing web site in 4 days.

The third was to solve Methodist International's problem of managing many disparate lists of contacts such as physicians, hospitals, and patients. The solution was Zextus' highly customizable CRM and Email Marketing suite. It has enabled Methodist to manage these lists by providing essential features such as importing contacts, exporting mailing list, searching, filtering, and targeted emailings. Additionally, it provides tools to measure the effectivness of marketing compaigns sent through emails or regular mail.

Internet Medical Clinics represents a completely new concept in healthcare delivery. They offer everything a traditional medical clinic does and something much more, the Internet Healthcare Delivery System, a look into the future of the practice of medicine.

Zextus was contracted to design and develop the Internet Healthcare Delivery System. With this system, patients are able to schedule appointments, update their contact information, view and update their past medical history, and communicate with their doctor through a secure messaging system. The project required not only the ability to do this from the Web, but also through the phone with voice recognition. Furthermore, the system had to integrate with Medinformatix, the health care facilities' Electronic Medical Record software. Inspite of the inherent difficulties in creating something completely brand new and also the difficulties in making the system work through the phone without the need for a live attendant, Zextus turned Internet Medical Clinics into a reality .

Nova Medical Centers was looking for away to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and provide more control to its clients when dealing with Workers Compensation patients. Nova called on Zextus to help them accomplish this goal and the result is an easy-to-use Web application that eliminates the entry of redundant information and eliminates filling out paper forms required by the State of Texas for Workers Compensation patients.

The new system tracks the current status of each patient, notifies a patient's company of their current status via email or fax, and automatically fills out Microsoft Word document forms required by the State of Texas.

Latest News: The system is currently being integrated into Zextus Customer Relationship Manager and Zextus Email Marketing Manager. This integration will raise Nova's efficency to a new level. Not only does it allow sales to stay on top of their current and prospective client base but will also empower management with the tools that will influence decisions to help Nova grow.
